This question issue has come up a few times now so I have decided to write a short piece on it. Firstly, Sustanon is a blend of 4 testosterones:
Testosterone Propionate, Phenylpropionate, Isocaproate and Deconoate.
This blend offers some advantages over a single testosterone in that it enters the system very quickly because of the Propionate components and stays in the system for a long time via the Deconoate. The properties of the combination causes a better overall effect when compared with a single testosterone with a marked decrease in water retention. This would be due to the fact that the fast acting testosterones reduce the accumulation of androgens that leads to aromatising (conversion to estrogen) by going in and out of the system quickly. While their positive effects are felt, the longer lasting testosterones are effectively a lower dosage, reducing their side effects.
Overall, Sustanon will give good results, even with repeated use, with fewer side effects when compared with single testosterones. The problem arises when people are advised to take Sustanon and Depotrone in combination. This has now come up a few times. Sustanon works very well in combination with Deca and Orals steroids because these supplement each other, but when combined with another testosterones like Cypionate, you effectively destroy the synergy that exists in the Sustanon combination.
Firstly you are skewing the formulation, and secondly you are no introducing all the side effects that makes Sustanon so attractive. In short it makes absolutely no sense to combine Sustanon with any other single testosterone like Depotrone or Enantate.
One of the reasons people suggest this is to cover up fake Sustanon they are selling.
Another point to consider the dosage of Sustanon used. My feeling is that in dosages above 500mgs per week, you are starting to lose the positive effects because of the androgen accumulation that will increase drastically. This means that if you are going o use very high dosages of Sustanon, you are probably better off using one of the single testosterones in high dosages.
Sustanon works will in dosages below 500mgs per week and in combination with Anabol, Winstrol, Oxandrolone, and Deca etc.
